2017 Trustee Election

In accordance with State law, an election is scheduled to be held to select the Retirement Board Trustee representing the LABF’s annuitants for a three-year term thatbegins December 2, 2017. Voting is scheduled to take place Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm at 321 North Clark Street, Suite 1300. Valid photo ID is required.

All employee annuitants and surviving spouse annuitants of the LABF is eligible to vote.

Any qualified employee annuitant who is receiving a retirement annuity is eligible to become a candidate.

Those interested in becoming a candidate must submit a “Request for Petition” form which is available at the LABF office and on the LABF website. “Nominating Petitions” must be signed by at least ten (10) eligible voters. The completed Nominating Petition must be returned to the LABF office IN PERSON no later than Monday, August 28, 2017.
